Excellent hotel and facilities; staff cheerful, helpful and ready to go the extra mile. Food: very good ingredients but a bit last century in cuisine. Pavlova..lasagne smothered in a cheddar cheese sauce, not a hint of parmesan...excellent breakfast

Great location - close to the motorway for easy access to other places. Swimming pool facilities were really good, especially the jacuzzi. Staff interactions could improve.

Excellent hotel, fine large room, including fridge and usual extras. We had the bar food with was well presented by pleasant staff. Breakfast was as good as expected. Would stay again

From the moment I walked into the hotel there was a warm welcoming atmosphere. The hotel staff - reception, bar, restaurant and house-keeping were all friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spa was amazing. I'm going back!!

Was great for my 3 year old for swimming and play area and the grounds are few beautiful the staff were lovely especially a lady who made the fuss over my little girl she was lovely was lovely comfy bed too food was fab definitely be back again

Great location, lovely hotel, staff very friendly & helpful. Lovely pool & playground & gardens, lots to do with kids. The food was the only disappointment, it was very busy so maybe that’s why it wasn’t great!

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff.

I wanted to book a hotel within an hour or so from home wasn’t expecting a huge amount but it was absolutely perfect! Kids had a ball service was great and it by far exceeded our expectations! Rooms are a little dated but we didn’t spend time in it

Lovely hotel just on the border. Lovely food, friendly staff, spacious rooms. Great location for exploring Slieve Gullion, Cooley and Carlingford and shopping in nearby Newry.

Really enjoyed our stay in the Carrickdale Hotel. Staff were so friendly & very attentive. Hotel grounds are lovely to have a walk around the secret garden.

Stayed at the carrickdale Hotel for 4 nights had a wonderful time found staff very friendly and welcoming,rooms were lovely and spacious cleaned every day,the hidden garden was a joy to wander around and pool and spa were lovely .

I have to say the hotel is a very good standard and the breakfast was very good but the bar food is over priced and not a good standard.

This was such a handy place to come for a short stay. Just off the motorway, great facilities and nice rooms.

We are a family of 4 who booked interconnecting rooms. The rooms are basic but clean and perfect for what we were looking for. Breakfast was tasty, good service.

Very good hotel rooms very nice . Breakfast also very good the girl that served us with blonde hair so welcoming.

Stayed in the Carrickdale for the midterm fantastic hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Kids loved the pool.. Also the secret gardens and the restaurant where they serve beautiful pancakes and delicious pizzas... Will definitely be back again.
