Loved our stay in the kilford Arms, always stay there when we go to kilkenny...our room was lovely, enjoyed our breakfast and staff are always friendly......

Private function on in the Bar led to a very uncomfortable stay due to all the fighting and no heads up from the staff. Was unable to get back into the hotel until the guards cleared the area. Breakfast excellent. Beds too high.

Great location within walking distance of castle and shops. Lovely hotel ,very clean friendly staff, good breakfast and a large car park at the back of hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Nice for night out , food is good breakfast staff nice welcoming, rooms have old feelings like need upgrade bath water stoper stuff used tea spoon to take genius 😄 else is great enjoy night

The walls are very thin so it can be very noisy at times. The window in the room was also broken so a big contributory to further noise. Also, the door to the room was not the best, so you don't always feel safe.

Very friendly staff. Very interesting bar with the Church ruins inside. Lively music in the evening. Very happy with our stay.

Had a fantastic experience at the Kilford Arms, from Sheila in reception to the bar staff, everyone was so welcoming. Rooms clean and comfortable, fan was a welcome sight!! Car park behind hotel was perfect, we will be back!

We had a lovely time in the Kilford Arms. In centre of town. All staff are so pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was beautiful and evening meals were gorgeous. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Kilford Arms Hotel last week for 3 nights. Situated in the centre of the city. Rooms were lovely. The food was excellent. As for the staff, they could not do enough for us. We will definitely return again soon.

The Hotel is in a perfect location for entertaining. There are plenty of pubs in the area with Music on Mon - Sunday. The Hotel could do with a bigger verity of entertainment instead of having the same 2 people each time we stay there.

Lovely, friendly, oldy worldly hotel, with some fabulous features, including a bar built around a church ruin. Staff in the bar were particularly friendly and would bend over backwards for you. Food ok. Menu needs updating. Rooms clean.

Little gem of a hotel in Kilkenny and I have stayed in them all staff are the best. Food class and hotel room spotless and very comfortable. This was my third time and I will select it every other time I stay on KK. Free parking great bar.

Girl on reception was so welcoming and friendly, told us everything we needed to know .got some bar food which was nice only disappointment was breakfast buffet style which was Luke warm get up first thing if u want hot but should be hot until finish

We have stayed in the Kilford Arms Hotel many times and we find it very good as it is near the city of Kilkenny and also it has free parking. The only problem we had was the breakfast was a bit cold.

Kilford arms hotel is very central in Kilkenny. It's very close to the train station. The ladies on reception was so friendly. The hotel was very busy but the staff was still very professional. Would definitely stay there again

We stayed in Kilford Arms on Friday night. It's centrally located,just down from train station and McDonagh Junction. I arrived at midday to drop bag in, having walked the short stroll from train station and our room was ready early which was great.

Great location. I’d never stay way outside town again. Hotel had everything needed for a short break especially lots of parking which is a great bonus given it is so central. Rooms lovely and it was much quieter at night than expected. Staff nice.

This hotel is so central in Kilkenny, around corner from train station and Mcdonagh Junction centre. Staff were very nice, bar in hotel is lovely. Small detail of our room being very dark with only small window looking onto a roof but hardly in room.

Great location, really nice outdoor/smoking area. My room was small, however it had everything I needed. Complimentary water a nice touch. I did find it had a lot of steps/stairs in hotel. However I really enjoyed my stay. Food good, staff helpful.
