Amazing hotel and really suited to families

Hotel has a lot to offer but there things to improve on. We had a meal in the bar/bistro area which was disappointing. The Buffet Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel room was spacious, the food in restaurant was of a high standard and staff where very professional. The hotel and would be very suited to families with children. The hotel is on the outskirts of town

We went for our wedding menu tasting and had a wonderful stay. Food was incredible and staff so kind and attentive, we definitely picked the right hotel for our special day. Sarah from events was so helpful.

Lovely hotel, loved the place, the staff, the service, the super nice staff, the food was delicious, the kids loved the pool and the kids club next to the hotel. We had a lovely family time.🤩😍🥰

Great stay at the Talbot Hotel Carlow. Room were lovely and spacious with two kids. Friendly staff and excellent food. The Dome playzone and bowling area is right next door. Everything was conveniently on our doorstep for a nice family weekend break

Tolbot Carlow lovely hotel , we enjoyed our stay rooms are lovely and quiet , used the leisure centre which was great , nice bar and food was good

Lovely break staff were wonderful especially Jenny dinner was delicious and a bit of music to end the night

Would say that the hotel is excellent in general,food in particular was very good. Rooms were fine and location is very good. The one flaw is the service which was decent in the restaurant but terrible in the bar. Staff were slow and inattentive.

Everything was lovely apart from waiting time on bar service and they were not fully stocked for ingredients of cocktails on the menu x

Hotel was clean, beds comfortable, fantastic water pressure in the shower. The food wasn’t great, out of 6 dishes that we had, only 1 was great, Bar was nice but full of children and families - all well behaved but I wasn’t expecting so many kids

Nice hotel 5min drive from carlow town center

Nice hotel but not very clean. Carpets need shampooing, cushions were dirty, upholstery on chairs need to be cleaned. Dishes were dirty. Food at dinner was not great, chips were re-heats (another customer also sent theirs back), pizza overdone.

Hotel lovely, staff friendly and accommodating. Food beautiful both dinner and breakfast, will definitely be back again

Food is generally very good. Hotel is clean. Pool is well managed and not too packed. 25 minutes from Kilkenny too which is a plus. The hotel has a lovely area for dining outside, impressive decking area.

Great hotel, not far from Dublin, and great for the kids!
