The Inn at Dromoland is one of our top sellers for relaxing breaks in County Clare – and suited to couples, small groups and families.  The Inn offers excellent complimentary leisure facilities – with an indoor pool, sauna and plunge pool and fully equipped fitness centre – along with the beauty of 500 acres of woodland on the Dromoland estate to enjoy early morning walks and downtime.  Enjoy mini golf, book in for a round at Dromoland Golf course, or avail of seasonal complimentary activities to enrich your stay.

For families, an onsite outdoor playground, crazy golf, acres to roam, and forest trails and The Play Inn, a soft indoor play area for use during your stay. The surroundings of Dromoland Castle Estate makes this location perfect for a family break and base to explore the nearby Clare bucket list attractions.  Guests can also book into The Castle Spa at the neighbouring sister property, Dromoland Castle.

Children will be automatically charged for meals in accordance with the adults meals on booking.

Book a midweek break ( Sunday to Thursday)  and enjoy a late check out till 12 noon. Valid until March 31st 2026.

We had a lovely stay at Dromoland. We got our steps in walking to the bedroom. Theres no fridge in them but there was a kitchen at the end of the hall. Our view was of the carpark. The staff were friendly and we saw deer in the park. Great for kids.

A lovely stay. Lots to do for the kids. Only flaw was they were advertising for a kids club. Which was not running cause of a party booked in instead. Shouldn't of been advertised. Food at breakfast and in Gastro bar is great 👍 rooms clean 👌

We had a lovely stay at Dromoland. We got our steps in walking to the bedroom. Theres no fridge in them but there was a kitchen at the end of the hall. Our view was of the carpark. The staff were friendly and we saw deer in the park. Great for kids.

The Inn at Dromoland is very child friendly , most of it's occupants are families. There is a nice pool and there were movie nights. The hotel is really lacking a supervised kids club. The play inn is an indoor play area but there is an extra charge.

Ideal for families plenty of seating throughout the hotel, nice areas to seat and chat - nice pool but be mindful no kids after 7.00 - good indoor play area and small outdoor playground also

Lovely staff, nice food, great for families with outdoor playground, mini golf, indoor play centre and pool. My only complaint was that the pool was very cold but otherwise it was a very enjoyable break

Great place for a kids holiday- pool, movie night, crazy golf, good food menus, indoor and outdoor play areas. Would be better if there was a door connecting the Play Inn area to the hotel as walking outside in bad weather is not ideal with babies.

Hotel was excellent. Grounds are vast - Food was tasty and well portioned. Our room was a good size and the shower / bath was relaxing. The water is so pure and silky soft. Loved it! I read after that they have a new €16m treatment plant. inspiring

Went with my daughter and 3 grandchildren and what a fabulous stay we had.The children had a fabulous time.Plenty for them,swimming pool, indoor play area,outdoor play area, crazy golf and a different movie every night.Fab hotel.
