Always a great hotel to stay at , lovely staff , very helpful.Rooms we stayed in were recently refurbished to a very high standard and had all we needed in terms of comfy bed tea and coffee , great shower and were quiet at night

Disappointed the Double room was 2 single beds and didn’t do room service . Otherwise it was great , clean and staff were lovely

We are just back from our stay in the White Sands Hotel, Portmarnock we had a wonderful 2 night stay the staff at reception in the dining room & bar all very nice & very helpful, we had a room with a sea view amazing, lovely walks along the sea front

Great hotel in front of Portmarnock beach, great food and the most important great staff as well.

Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Free parking with an excellent bus service to explore the city was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed a swim and a long walk along the beautiful beach in Portmarnock.

Lovely stay in the White Sands Hotel Portmarnock, great staff very friendly helpful and efficient, nice plentiful breakfast room clean & spacious, nice to walk along the seafront into Malahide.

The hotel is situated across from the beach which is lovely for a walk. The bedroom was clean and comfy. Food very nice. Staff very friendly. Only negative is towel rail next to the toilet.

The white Sands is a great hotel right across from the beach.The check in was Seamless, staff very friendly.Room was average size had all we needed plus comfy bed , sorry didn’t ask for a sea view.The bathroom had a nice bath/shower.lovely breakfast!

Location is amazing hotel very dated and actually quite dirty if you look around. Staff at reception when we arrived were rude and dismissive. Anyone can have a bad day but smile and get on with it. Breakfast was fantastic servers excellent.

hotel was beautiful -we checked in late but it was no problem to the friendly night porter. breakfast was lovely but the staff were not organised-one blonde girl seemed to do everything! Great stay & hope to visit again.

Great location across from the beach. Bus stops both to Malahide and city center are within walking distance too. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This was a lovely hotel, from the minute we walked through the door the staff could not be more friendlier or have done more for us. The food was great and the beach was only across the road from hotel . Really was a lovely break away.😊

Really enjoyed the night at White Sands.

Nice basic hotel in a great location at north end of Portmarnock beach. We stayed one Sun night and got the 42 bus to the city (50 minutes each way) with the bus stops only 100m from the hotel. Music in the bar on return & good brekkie next morning.

Great location and nice views out to the sea. Food was great.

Amazing hotel we had a 3 month old baby witv us and he fell asleep all night during our stay mhe enjoyed it as well as we did. They women on the main desk were sp helpful and always chatting to us as we came back in. Would def stay again .

The hotel was ideally located facing the beach. Hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was quite dated but ok with the exception of the bathroom which really needs an overhaul, rusty taps and radiator etc

Lovely location & hotel was comfortable. I requested a sea view room as it was a special occasion & I got a lovely room with a view. Breakfast was mediocre, all that was needed was a bowl of fresh fruit. The hot option was fine. Staff very helpfu

Hotel was lovely. We had a lovely meal at a very reasonable price on Friday. Loved the location. Swam on Saturday morning straight across the road. Room was comfortable. Staff were very very nice. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely staff area a bit quiet. Hotel had bar sufficient for a drink. Arrived late back and wanted snack as hotel is away from shops etc but was advised kitchen was closed. I would have thought residents could get something but overall great value

This is a nice standard 3* hotel, certainly not a 4*. Rooms are small and basic. There is a bar/restaurant and the food is lovely. Live band playing in the bar on Saturdays and Sundays which is great. Nice seaside location too.

My husband and i had a lovely time in the White Sands Hotel. The views from the rooms are stunning. Breakfast was really tasty also food in the bar was gorgeous. Great atmosphere and all staff lovely and pleasant.

First room had what looked like mould on the bathroom walls. Second one we were allocated wasn't much better tbh. I feel the hotel needs a complete overhaul. Staff were very nice, especially at breakfast, which was lovely.
