From the moment you walked through the door the staff were warm and welcoming. We ate in the Charter Bar. We had 2 courses included in the Supervalu deal. Food and service was top class.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel. Friendly staff. Recommend the restaurant across the road all part of the hotel fabulous meal there

Great stay in the Midlands Hotel. We were travelling as a family group for an anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised at the facilities in the hotel and the modern and fresh decor. Food was also very good and staff were pleasent.

A lovely hotel. Very central with a very nice bar with good food. Steakhouse was great and great service. The staff at hotel were excellent. Kids club and face painting for kids. We enjoyed our stay and were looked after very well.

The Portlaoise hotel was lovely, cosy and warm. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety and range of items. Cooked breakfast came on very hot plates and was a very good quality. Staff were helpful and friendly and rooms were well serviced.

Great base to explore east side of ireland, very central location within Portlaoise town. Lovely staff and child friendly atmosphere. Food was very good , we had both breakfast and dinner there both days , nil issues or complaints . Would recommend .

Really enjoyed break away in Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise. Hotel was great value for money. Breakfast was so good everything you could think of was there. Had a lovely facial in spa so relaxed after it. Pool was lovely aswell. Liked it so much.

We went for a night mid week to the hotel , we had lunch in the charter restaurant and evening meal , food was good , cocktails were unreal , out on there own , you need to try passion fruit martini ! Room was spacious and had a lovely jacuzzi !

Lovely hotel in town a plus walk to shops come back and relax no driving no parking problem.So relaxing park the car and chill.

Lovely Break. Staff were excellent and helpful. Train station just behind hotel, so ideal for trip to Dublin Zoo. Twins loved the swimming pool, ask for the jets/bubbles to be turned on as they are lots of fun for small ones. Lovely breakfast

Lovely break away in Portlaois. The hotel was impressive on entering with lovely Christmas decorations that my daughter was in awe of! A smooth breakaway, would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone staying in the Midlands. We'll be back!

Enjoyed the stay, food lovely, staff friendly and helpful

On arrival, we learnt the restaurant and bar was fully booked out for dinning. After speaking with the reception staff, they were able to accommodate us without any hesitation. Their kindness went above and beyond.

Fabulous 2 nights stay, facilities are excellent. Highly recommend for a family with young children.

Good time would have preferred proper double bed . Two single beds together not very comfortable.other than that very happy thanks

Had a great time but the only complaint we had was the room was to hot. We couldn’t open the window as the fans from the kitchen were beside use and the smell coming from them was terrible.

Was amazing staff were out of this world. No pool the first day but we were compensated with an hour of free bowling so we were delighted.

This hotel was excellent! Stay here for two night with family. Staff were so friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Bar, restaurant, pool and breakfast was amazing. Hotel is spotless and rooms were beautiful. Loved every minute.

It was unbelievable, the staff were just next to perfect. The food and waiters and waitresses were unreal. Best food I have had in years out.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hotel is central and the staff are lovely and very helpful. Have stayed here on numerous occasions and recommended the hotel to friends who have also enjoyed their stay here. Looking forward to going back again.

We had a Fabulous 2 nights stay at Midlands park hotel. The girls on reception were very helpful and the staff at the charter bar were very obliging. We would highly recommend this hotel and in a perfect location for visiting this area.
