What happens now?
You will receive an email from the holiday home provider with further information on what to expect from your break. Many holiday home providers do not belong to a larger group of self-catering accommodation providers so it’s good to keep an eye out for your spam/junk email folder.
In some cases, you can receive a phone call from the accommodation provider with next steps of your break.
How do I pay the remainder of the stay?
In the email or phone call with the accommodation provider you will get details on next step payments. The payments depend on the holiday home provider. You can check details on the dedicated accommodation page under “Terms of this property”. We update the pages once we hear from the accommodation providers.
Is there any additional charges?
Most self-catering accommodations have additional charge such as utilities or a refundable deposit. Your accommodation provider will let you know about these once they reach out to you. You can also check the holiday home page on our website to see what is under the properties “Terms of this property”
Any additional services required from the holiday home provider must be arranged with the provider in accordance with their policy such as cots, bike rentals etc.
Do I have to pay a security deposit?
Most Holiday Home providers request you to pay a refundable security deposit. Check the accommodation page for more information. Your accommodation provider will also give you more details when they reach out to you.
Cancellations and changes?
If you must cancel or change your booking, contact us directly. A 50% cancellation charge will be applied to holiday home booking cancellations made 6 weeks prior to your arrival date. If you cancel less than 6 weeks prior to arrival, or if you book your break within 6 weeks of your arrival date and then cancel, a 100% cancellation charge applies.
What is included in my break?
Different holiday home providers offer different inclusions in their holiday home such as Wi-Fi, towels, bed linen, parking, guest discounts to local attractions etc. Check the accommodation page for details
