Why has SuperValu ended its partnership with Getaway Breaks?
SuperValu is evolving its Real Rewards programme to focus on new benefits that deliver even greater value to customers. As part of this transition, the partnership with Getaway Breaks will conclude on Thursday, 1 January 2026.
What happens to bookings made before the partnership ended?
All bookings made before the partnership ends will be honoured in full.
If you’ve already booked a stay for after Thursday, 1 January 2026, your reservation remains valid — there’s no need to contact customer care to confirm.
Can I still book with Getaways after the partnership ends?
Yes. You can continue to book hotel breaks directly with Getaways Ireland at www.getawaysireland.ie. For 12–18 months, the current SuperValu Getaway Breaks website will redirect to the new Getaways site to ensure a smooth transition.
What happens if I contact SuperValu about a Getaways Ireland query after the partnership ends?
From Thursday, 1 January 2026, customer support for all Getaways bookings and queries will be managed directly by the Getaways Ireland team. If you contact SuperValu’s helpdesk and select option 2 for Getaway Breaks, you’ll be redirected to the appropriate Getaways Ireland number. For booking-related queries, please contact the Getaways Travel Experts on 0818 220 088 or email info@getawaysireland.com.

Yes! Getaways Ireland continues to offer great-value stays across Ireland and Europe, including:

• Social media posts
• App ads
• In-store radio and digital screens
• POS materials
What happens to SuperValu Getaway Breaks vouchers?
All valid SuperValu Getaway Breaks vouchers will continue to be accepted and honoured as usual. Customers can redeem existing vouchers on bookings made before and after Thursday, 1 January 2026 through the new Getaways Ireland website at www.getawaysireland.ie.
